Making an offer that is considerably lower than the listing price for North Florida real estate is sometimes referred to as making a low-ball offer. As a North Florida home buyer, you are free to submit any offer you like, but remember, a seller of a North Florida home may be very quick to reject any offer. The best way to submit an informed offer is to do some research prior to making an offer. Compare the price the home is listed at with other homes in the same neighborhood. You should also find out what the seller’s primary reason for selling is. If a seller is in desperate need to sell, a lower offer may be effective. Making a low offer can make a seller lose hope in negotiating at all or deter any potential sale you might have had. If the North Florida real estate is extremely over priced, then the seller may accept a lower offer.
