The Venetia and Timiquana are two areas along the most scenic expanses of the St. Johns River. Timuquana Country Club is located southeast of Ortega off of Roosevelt Boulevard and bordered by the river. Each Jacksonville fl westside community has gorgeous views. The private country club is a cushion from the busy Jacksonville Naval Air Station. Timuquana Yacht Club allows members to relax and rest on the river. The homes are mature, but are wonderfully kept with manicured expansive lawns. Houses may be found in the nearby for less, but anything on the river will cost $1 million plus. The schools are excellent. Venetia Elementary School is a superb school. Timiquana and Venetia are very beautiful places to call home.
