Current information will be the most valuable to you; a sale that took place a week ago is much more valid than a purchase from six months ago. There is no actual record of the sales price until the transaction is finished which poses a problem. This information is not available in the public record because no deed has been recorded yet. It becomes a pending sale on the Multiple Listing Service and pricing information is removed from the listing. Prices are not reposted until it becomes a ‘closed sale.’ This protects the seller in the event that the deal falls through and the property is back on the market.  Your realtor North Florida can usually find out a price through professional courtesy if they have a reason to know the sales price.
