Deercreek and Deerwood are gated golf communities in Jacksonville Fl off of Southside Boulevard. The Southside Boulevard area has several developments of moderately priced condos, apartment homes and single family residences. Deerwood Golf and Country Club is a prestigious neighborhood with home ranging from about $200,000 to approximately $1 million. There are several office parks and car dealerships close by. The Avenues Mall is a short drive as well. North of Deerwood and Deercreek Golf and Country Club is the Tinseltown area, named for the CineMark Tinseltown Theater. The area is one of the fastest growing spots in the city. There are already an abundance of restaurants and nightspots, hotels, offices, and shops. Young singles are attracted to the Jacksonville Southside area because of upscale apartments, while luxury condos are being built nearby.
