When you are looking at a newly constructed Florida home, don’t be afraid to at least try your hand at negotiating with the Northeast Fl developer. Some Florida developers will argue that their prices are set on fixed construction costs, but you won’t know unless you try. Even if a developer is hesitant to negotiate the price, you can often times negotiate for increased amenities. For example, when buying a Florida new home upgrades in light fixtures or flooring may be negotiated. If you catch a builder at the very beginning or the very end of a development project, you may be able to negotiate the price. Florida developers are seeking people to move in hastily at the beginning so the project will pick up energy. At the end, developers are ready to sell the last of their units. There are ways to negotiate with a developer, and each case will be different. James Angelo has the experience to help with the negotiation process.
