Making a great first impression

A great first impression can influence a buyer to make an offer on your North Florida home. If you want buyers to gravitate to your home, you need to show it in its finest moments. A first impression influences a buyer emotionally and visually and impacts what they think of the asking price. A bad first impression can be deadly. Do not show your property until it is all fixed up or you may give the buyers the chance to negotiate based on their poor first impression.

Try and gauge before hand the opinion about what vibe your home gives off by asking others their opinion. Real estate agents are excellent sources for this since they see houses everyday. Consider what architects or landscape designers have to say as well. It is often difficult to separate the personal and emotional ties you have with the home from the property itself. Some general areas that you should consider revamping are landscaping, cleaning and redoing the driveway, painting, and carpeting. Improving the first impression will give you the advantage as a seller when putting your Jacksonville FL home on the market.
