You have finally signed the lease or purchase agreement on your new abode.
Now that you have made the decision to either buy, sell or lease, you have the task of moving your belongings to your new home. You have several options when moving. You can handle the packing and transporting all by yourself, pack your items and have a professional move them, or hire someone to do it all.
Before you sign on to move yourself alone, ask yourself if you even have the time for such a large task. Also, how many items do you need to move? Many of your items, like furniture, will be very heavy and may require additional help. This will require you to enlist the help of friends and family. Do you know people who are willing to help you? If you feel like you don’t have the time to move yourself, you may want to pack up your belongings, then bring in a moving service. Many movers have services that will drop off a trailer at your home and give you a few days to load your items. Then, when you have your belongings loaded, you call the company and they move it to your new house. If you are still hesitant about loading all of your stuff, there is the option of hiring someone to do it all. Many local moving companies hire workers by the hour. This relieves a lot of the stress in moving, but can be costly. Consider all of the options before reaching a decision.
