The Clay County and the city of Orange Park are important areas of growth for Northeast Florida real estate. Orange Park homes are in demand because of the cities proximity to vibrant Jacksonville Fl and because of the jobs available in and around Orange Park. Orange Park is located south of the city and west of the St. John’s River. Its closeness to Jacksonville makes it an attractive residential area to live in. St. John’s River Community College is found in Orange Park in addition to a major shopping mall, the Orange Park Kennel Club, golf courses, country clubs, and medical facilities. Boating, fishing, kayaking, and jet skiing are popular activities because of the numerous waterways. Green Cove Springs, Penny Farms, and Keystone Heights are three major parts of the area. Clay County is the second largest county of Northeast Florida’s five counties.
